Rules we designed for
A disclaimer nobody can read is not a disclaimer.
Disclaimers are designed in, at a size and duration people can read, in every ratio. Every rate, figure and chart comes from a source you approve, and nothing on screen promises returns.
Financial services, in depth- FCA financial promotions (UK)
- Promotions must be fair, clear and not misleading, with risks given due prominence.
- FINRA Rule 2210 (US)
- Broker-dealer communications must be fair and balanced, with no promissory or exaggerated claims.
- SEC Marketing Rule (US)
- Adviser marketing is limited in how it uses testimonials, endorsements and performance.
- On-screen disclaimers
- Legible size and enough time on screen to read them, in every format.
We design to these rules and flag what we see. Legal review and sign-off stay with your compliance team and counsel.
